Dear colleagues, The nomination period for candidates to the RIPE NCC Executive Board closed on the 24th April. We didn't receive a third nomination, so the Executive Board is nominating a third candidate in accordance with the RIPE NCC Articles of Association. The Board therefore nominates James Blessing to be the third candidate. James is a respected member of the RIPE community and has shown himself to be familiar and engaged with the issues affecting the RIPE NCC membership. We thank James for agreeing to stand for election. The election takes place 15-16 May at the General Meeting (GM) to be held in Dublin. We hope that members will register to attend the meeting if they are in Dublin or will participate remotely via the webcast. Members should also have received invitations to vote electronically, and we urge you to take advantage of opportunity to cast your vote in the elections and on the three resolutions to be voted on. The draft agenda for the GM is posted online at: https://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/may-2013/agenda Regards, Nigel Titley RIPE NCC Executive Board Chairman
