Dear members, The draft agenda for the RIPE NCC General Meeting, which takes place in Dublin at the Burlington Hotel on 15 May, is now posted: http://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/may-2013/agenda There are three resolutions to be voted on by the membership: - Adoption of the RIPE NCC 2012 Audited Financial Report - Discharge of the Executive Board - Adoption of the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme 2014 The RIPE NCC Charging Scheme has previously been presented to the membership for voting in the second GM of the year. Following the recommendation of the Charging Scheme Task Force, discussions at the September 2012 GM and to assist members with their budgeting for the coming year, the RIPE NCC Executive Board has decided that the Charging Scheme will now be voted on at the first GM every year. Details on the revised timeline are available in the Charging Scheme Options document from September 2012: http://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/september-2012/documents/options-for-ripe-ncc-charging-scheme-2013 Executive Board Elections ------------------------- We would also like to remind you that there will be an election for two seats on the RIPE NCC Executive Board at the General Meeting on 15 May 2013. The closing date for nominations is 24 April. There are currently two confirmed candidates for this election. If there are no more nominations, the Executive Board will nominate a third candidate to ensure there is an election. You can nominate a candidate or support a candidate by following the instructions at: http://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/may-2013/nominations-support A nominee must have five nominations or support mails before becoming a confirmed candidate. Register to Attend ------------------ https://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/may-2013/registration Electronic Voting ----------------- Members were sent an invite to register for electronic voting on 18 February and 7 March. You can still register using these emails. The invite will be sent again prior to the GM.
