[ncc-announce] RIPE NCC Annual Report 2011 - Options for Members

Dear members,

The RIPE NCC Annual Report 2011 will be published online on 21 March 2012.

In previous years, all RIPE NCC members were sent a copy of the Annual 
Report by post. This year, members need to "opt in" if they wish to 
receive a copy of the Annual Report by post. Members who do not choose 
to opt in will not receive the Annual Report by post. It will, as 
always, be available for all members to read online.

The RIPE NCC is implementing this opt-in system in response to feedback 
received from members in the RIPE NCC Membership and Stakeholder Survey 
2011, the RIPE NCC General Meetings and various other feedback mechanisms.

The goals of this initiative are to:
- Reduce RIPE NCC costs
- Be more environmentally friendly
- Allow members to control their communication options

If you wish to receive the Annual Report by post, you must opt in to do 
so by 29 February 2012. You can do this by using the Communication 
Preferences option in your LIR Portal account.
