Based on your input, we have reviewed our<br class="">procedures and we can address your concerns.<br class=""><br class="">Any valid request made before the end of 2020 to close an LIR account<br class="">will mean that the account in question will not be charged in 2021.<br class="">Policy transfers and changes in business structure that lead to the<br class="">closure of an LIR account will also not be charged in 2021 provided the<br class="">request is made to us with all necessary information before the end of<br class="">the year and the intention to close the account is confirmed to us in<br class="">our follow-up communication to the request. With policy transfers, the<br class="">resources must be transferable at the time of the request.<br class=""><br class="">Automated invoices will be corrected for valid requests processed after<br class="">31 December 2020. But we kindly ask you to complete closure requests,<br class="">policy transfers and notifications of changes in business structure in<br class="">time so we avoid sending the automated invoice in Q1 2021. This reduces<br class="">unnecessary administrative burden for ourselves and for members.<br class=""><br class="">We will communicate this information to all members. February or March, so there is still a lot of time for RIPE to
exempt LIRs from getting invoiced<br class="">
where a closure process is started before new-year. So I really
dont understand the reason why make it such complicated.<br class="">

be community will cancel this restriction for transfers
between accounts of one organisation because there is the wait

I got a question from our community. If an LIR (or

will not allow the transfer request.<br class="">
And this mean an invoice for 2021 will be received by the
LIR and no<br class="">
transfer will be possible until full payment.<br class="">
Does this situation reflect the reality? Will the LIR
carry extra<br class="">
expenses?<br class="">
