<p>We are proud to announce the launch of the RIPE NCC Technical
Emergency Hotline:<br>

<p>RIPE NCC members told us that they needed to reach us 24/7 in
emergency situations following the reverse DNS outage in June
2012. Our members asked and we listened.</p>
<p>The RIPE NCC Technical Emergency Hotline is: <strong>+31 (0) 20
626 3571</strong></p>
<p>During office hours [Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00 (UTC+1)], any
calls to the hotline will be redirected to the RIPE NCC front
office.</p>
<p>Outside of office hours, the number will redirect to a reputable
third-party company trained to evaluate the calls and pass on the
details of a legitimate report immediately to the appropriate RIPE
NCC 24/7 team. </p>
<p>As this is a new service, we will be watching it closely over the
next few months so that we can evaluate it and make any
adjustments to the service if needed. We will report our findings
back to RIPE NCC members.</p>
