There was a survey and then an Open House to discuss the results of the survey and a potential way forward. You can see the Open House discussion here: https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/open-house/ripe-ncc-open-house-charging-scheme-principles After that series of engagements, the Board planned to reopen the topic ahead of the recent General Meeting and was hoping to propose four models based on the feedback they got. You can see what those models are in the presentation I gave at the GM last week. https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/gm/meetings/may-2022/documentation-and-archive/presentations/ripe-ncc-charging-scheme-2023.pdf So as you suggest, we do plan to come back to this at a time when all members are able to give the topic more attention. And of course discussion on this list and an explanation of why people voted against a resolution is always very useful for the Board. We pay close attention to those discussions. It has always been difficult to get a clear consensus among members about charging. So given the many divergent opinions that we've seen so far in the discussions around the charging scheme, a 70% yes vote for the 2023 charging scheme model might also be considered to be quite a positive outcome, even if there is still plenty of work to be done in this area.
