Also I don't want to have such a policy because of how undefined "armed conflict in their region" is, and some parts of the RIPE NCC service region are to my knowledge very often in some kind of armed conflict. I am however fine with and would approve of a document or policy that just confirms that the exec board has the power to suspend demand for payments from such regions and they should do so when they deem appropriate. This is as I obviously support it in a case like this but wouldn't want someone to start arguing about if they were in a region with an armed conflict or not in order to avoid paying. (I have purposefully chosen not to include any examples as I really don't want to turn this thread into chaos, and would appreciate it if people refrain from replying with examples.) -Cynthia
