Seriously: while your suggestion brought a slightly weary smile to my face, and I certainly miss the old days where people knew what RIPE or BGP is, we'll have to deal with an amazing amount of lack of education. So indeed, maybe more frequent push infos from the RIPE NCC on what this list is about, why people are on it (and how to get off it) might be the right way forward.
