Probably a periodic (monthly ? quarterly ? yearly ?) reminder that the
address (which exactly) is subscribed to a mailing list. A way of
un-subscribing without a need to go through the LIRPortal would help
too.

No matter how much we hate it, it starts being the norm. I even had
pople complaining that without TOFU they have difficulties following.
Keeping to a "no romobts/tickets/...." would already be a good start.
