Dear Vesna, This is again me, Andrei Sukhov from Samara State Aerospace University, Russia. I am pleased to inform you that our article "Generating a Function for Network Delay" has bee accepted for publication in the Journal of High Speed Network. This article is based on data from RIPE Test Box. I attach to the letter manuscript, I hope that the article will appear in the December issue of the journal. But that's not all the news. After the withdrawal of RIPE Test Box support, we have developed a NetMobBox probe. It is much more compact, synchronized in time from the GPS/Glonass system, the software part is a owping tool written by us. If so, I could send the article describing the first results of NetMonBox measurements. Our probe can measure all IP performance metrics including a one-way delay with microsecond precision and available bandwidth. The cost of this device is less than 100 euros. I think it is easy to install the RIPE Atlas software on NetMonBox and try out as an anchor. We would like to test t such a system. if it's necessary, we can send blank articles describing our NetMonBox probe. Sincerely yours, Andrei Sukhov -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
