I will read up on proxy voting but my suspicion is that not proxy, but postal voting will be the ultimate solution. Without knowing the detail of the proposals in advance (many proposals are formulated at a RIPE meeting) it is difficult to accurately instruct a proxy in a timely fashion. Peter
