I think we hear the need for several things here. It sounds to me like the best idea right now would be to do two things: 1. release the perl/C/INTERCAL code used to validate the form to the interested LIRs. Needless to say, future updates needs to be released as well and announced to interested parties. This will as far as I can tell cater for the "high-end" users. 2. Make a web-form version of the ripe-141, where part of the URL is interpreted as where to email the completed form when the user types "submit". This would allow a LIR to reference the RIPE version of the form from their own pages, and have the result emailed to themselves before it hits RIPE by using their own email-address in the URL. Something like: http://www.ripe.net/webforms/ripe141.html?recipient=hostmaster@thislir.co.uk A slightly different use could be for LIRs to submit to RIPE using the same form: http://www.ripe.net/webforms/ripe141.html?recipient=hostmaster@ripe.net,ncclir=uk.thislir Who would not be satisfied with this ?
