It invites controversy. Oh, heavens, no! Not *controversy*! Horrors and heavens to betsy. The controversy is all in the minds of several IAB members and some of their friends who are worried that someone is going to force them to use NATs and application-level gateways. If any change is to be made, I'd suggest not removing the sentence above, but adding another one: "Some IAB members and other folks think the previous sentence is a radical and controversial statement that should not be put in print."
