[irrtoolset]trying to compile with gcc 3.3.4

Hello, trying to compile IRRToolSet-4.8.1 plus Glen Turner's 
irrtoolset-20040308-1.patch, with 

gcc (GCC) 3.3.4 (Debian 1:3.3.4-3)
flex 2.5.31
bison (GNU Bison) 1.875a


I get the following error:
