For IPv6 CIDR addressing plans, take a look at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classless_Inter-Domain_Routing#IPv6_CIDR_blocks Please keep in mind in IPv4 world, a lot of customers assume their current modem/router to apply some sort of protection by providing NAT to hide all their equipment and selective apply port-forwarding when nessecary. While IPv6 provides plenty of addresses and there is no need to deploy NAT, customers still want some sort of security. Most vendors provide a similar functionality to block-all and selective allow traffic to specific IPv6 addresses/ports at the modem/router. Please document and communicate these features properly for your helpdesk and customers.
