I think it would be best if Shane remains the author of the new charter, as agreed at the last RIPE meeting. I think having multiple versions of the charter text confuses people. Shane is the one who wrote the first version. Let him look at the comments and propose a second version. We can then see if we have consensus on that version or if we need another version. But we should let Shane do the task he was given at the meeting. And after the charter is done we can start the co-chair election process. Sander.
