[Apologies for duplicate e-mails.] Dear Colleagues, An IPv6 deployment panel discussion was held at the ICANN meeting in Lisbon on Sunday 25 March between 13:00 and 15:00 (UTC+1). The session focused on IPv6 deployment in the root DNS and ISP environments as well as the policy support needed for this. The panel consisted of Gert Doering from SpaceNet AG, who discussed the ISPs' view of IPv6 deployment, Joao Damas from Internet Systems Consortium (ISC) who discussed IPv6 deployment in the DNS and Alex Le Heux from the RIPE NCC who gave the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) perspective. The agenda, webcast and presentations can be found on the meeting website at: http://www.icann.org/meetings/lisbon/ Remote participation was possible through the ICANN public participation site, which allowed registered users to ask questions and comment in chatrooms and forums. The site can be found at: http://public.icann.org/ The site can be reached through IPv6 as well as IPv4. Regards, Axel Pawlik Managing Director RIPE NCC
