A large network provider has housing facilities many places in many countries. * Put your server in some or all of these housing facilities. * Give every server the same IP address. * Tell large network provider to use the closest path and make a route to this IP address where you have your servers (use a routing protocol or whatever) * The peers of large network provider will be routed to the closest DENIC server in large network providers network. * If a server is down, the next closest DENIC server will get the traffic. * There is no single point of failure here. * You are using anycast. * You have a multiple failover solution.
