Terabit routers and corresponding bandwidth consumption.

Recent findings on the amount of router buffers made terabit electrical
routers much less expensive and terabit optical routers, which may be
even less expensive than electrical ones, viable.

When I proposed MPLS, it was over ATM and I already noticed and warned
that MPLS (over ATM) inherently is about 10 times slower than IP routers
and that MPLS over Ethernet is no better than IP routers.
