================================================================= Call for Posters and Demos (Deadline, Tuesday, August 23 August 31st, 2021, 23:59 AoE) 11th International Conference on the Internet of Things (IoT 2021) https://iot-conference.org St Gallen, Switzerland (and virtually). ACM (SIGCHI) In-Cooperation event ================================================================= The objective of the Posters and Demo sessions at IoT 2021 is to give researchers in the emerging research areas of IoT and their applications the opportunity to present early and fresh, in-progress results, to share experiences and strategies while facilitating the discussion between authors and conference attendees. We are especially interested in contributions of exciting demonstrations of novel approaches, designs, and implementations of IoT technology, both on an application as well as a hardware level. We would like to invite both researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to share and demonstrate their approaches. We explicitly welcome submissions from industry that outline and demonstrate new scientific opportunities and challenges for the application of IoT. Posters presenting early work and preliminary results are solicited. Demos can include but are not limited to, showcasing of research prototypes and proofs of concept, tool tutorials, or demonstrations of commercial or in-house applications. *Preparing Your Demo Submission* Researchers interested in submitting a demo should submit a 2 to 4 pages abstract (including references) formatted in the most recent ACM SIGCHI Extended Abstracts Format as PDF file. This extended abstract should include a figure of the system that shall be demonstrated during IoT 2021. Please mark the title of your contribution with the prefix “Demo:”. Information on the implementation of the demo session will be given after the review process. *Preparing Your Poster Submission* Researchers interested in submitting a poster should submit a 2 to 4 pages abstract (including references) formatted in the most recent ACM SIGCHI Extended Abstracts Format as PDF file. Please mark the title of your contribution with the prefix “Poster:”. Authors of accepted abstracts will be required to prepare a virtual poster for presentation at the conference in a standard format, details will be provided after the review process. *Submitting Your Poster and Demo Submission* Abstracts should be submitted via the EasyChair conference system ( https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iot20210), must be written in English, and contain original material that has not been published or is currently undergoing review elsewhere. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed by two experts of the scientific committee following a single-blind review process (i.e., the identity of the reviewer is anonymous, but the author’s name and affiliation are on the paper). Accepted abstracts will be listed on DBLP and published via the ACM Digital Library. Cases of plagiarism or multiple submissions will be subject to disciplinary action as per ACM rules and regulations, and no-shows at the conference will result in exclusion from the ACM Digital Library. Your submission should be close to camera-ready and thoroughly copy-edited due to the short selection cycle. *Important Dates* - Submission: August 23, 2021 (23:59 AoE) - Acceptance Notification: October 4, 2021 (23:59 AoE) - Camera-ready Version: October 18, 2021 (23:59 AoE) Track Chairs Konrad Diwold, Pro2Future GmbH & Graz University of Technology, e-mail: konrad.diwold at pro2future.at Pascal Weisenburger, University of St. Gallen, e-mail: pascal.weisenburger at unisg.ch -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
