RE: DDoS tracking WG

Might be an interesting initiateve,...

... though, attempting to find an EU(rope) wide concensus of forum
and effort would likely be more productive (?)

My personal bet's on http://www.ripe.net/ripe/wg/eof ... in spite of being
far from perfect.., being a potentially relevant (re-)starting point (?).
Let's attempt to evolve what is... perhaps focusing on a relevant
enhancement/review of activity and ops. focus.. (?)

IMHO, attempting to init one-off national/sub-regional 'more or less
disconnected' communities is far from the way we might eventually build
a (most often in this business, IMHO) needed consensus / consistent
community...

Do we really (already ;) need the added complexity of an xNOG representing
each (or close to) every sub-EU national/operator or whatever (in particular
in France ;) community? Wouldn't it (still) be possible to express operative
issues (including pref's for review) in a single forum?

My few cents, centimes or oren (swedish currency) ;)
