[eb-candidates] Question to all the candidates

Thank you for your questions:


I would like to hear the opinion of every candidate in regards to the

RIPE NCC budget.

Is it too big or too small or just right?
What would you change in the RIPE NCC budget?

I could write a much longer version of my answer(s) on this, but I will try to keep it short and as clear as possible:

It's not the board that should give guidelines to the members what is in or what is not in the budget. It's the members
opinions that the board should listen to.

After RIPE 86 we'll have a few open house sessions on the budget where members can discuss and give their input, and of course there is the
membership mailing list.

What I would change in the RIPE NCC budget is to strive to get a yet more as much detailed version of the budget and its content to be
visible for the members, so they can make easier decisions on what they want to promote, and what has less preference.
