[dnssec-key-tf] Evaluation of IANA-ITAR against TF requirements

Dear members of the (former) RIPE task force on a DNSSEC TAR, the result of this TF's work was published basically in this email message <http://www.ripe.net/ripe/maillists/archives/dns-wg/2008/msg00030.html> subsequently sent to the IANA. Most of you will have seen the IANA announcement of the Interim TAR (ITAR) in beta stage earlier this year, including an email sent by Kim Davies <http://www.ripe.net/ripe/maillists/archives/dns-wg/2009/msg00002.html> to the DNS WG's mailing list. Not counting the IDN test TLDs, the ITAR contains keys (well, KSK fingerprints) of six TLDs, three of which ccTLDs from within the RIPE region. The ITAR will have been in operation for 10 weeks by RIPE58. In preparation of that meeting, we thought it might be a good to respond to Kim's message by evaluating the ITAR against this TF's recommendations and the valuable additional hindsight. Therefore, I'd like to suggest we gather on Mon or Tue during the meeting week (60-90 minutes should suffice) to draft some feedback. Please indicate whether you'd be interested in this effort. We might end up inviting some more people and do a doodle. Thanks, Peter
