Dear colleagues, I'd like to give you an update on the status of the DNSMON service. We are currently migrating DNSMON’s measurement infrastructure to RIPE Atlas. Specifically, we are preparing a beta-status user interface for current DNSMON users and testing the back-end data acquisition. We will ask users to test the prototype later this year. We announced previously that the migration would be complete in Q1 of 2013, but to ensure everything is migrated smoothly, we will have to push back this target to later in the year. We will give you more specific migration targets as they become available. You can also follow our progress on the RIPE NCC's DNSMON Roadmap, which shows current work and planned developments for the service: https://roadmap.ripe.net/dnsmon/ We will also present on DNSMON at the RIPE 66 Meeting in Dublin at the DNS Working Group and the RIPE NCC Services Working Group, so please come to see our presentations if you are on site, or follow remotely if you can't make it to Dublin. The meeting plan is available at: https://ripe66.ripe.net/programme/meeting-plan/ In the meantime, the DNSMON service based on the TTM service will run as usual. We might not be able to take on new users this year, but we hope this will mean increased capacity in 2014. We will keep you up to date on any developments with the service as they happen. If you have any questions, please contact me. Kind regards, Vesna -- Vesna Manojlovic BECHA at ripe.net Senior Community Builder @Ms_Measurements for Measurements Tools RIPE NCC http://ripe.net
