Dear colleagues, The RIPE NCC’s internal deadline for requesting feedback about phasing out the old DSNMON has passed and we have received no feedback, either in regards to the deadline or the original plans. I would like to ask the DNS Working Group Chairs to provide us with direction on this and let us know if we should go ahead as proposed or not. On the same note, I had a chat with the DNS WG Chairs and we agreed that the RIPE NCC will put these kinds of requests about process directly in the hands of the working group, which has been the standard practice for the technically oriented working groups. I fully agree with such an arrangement and we are committed to following any process that can be applied to these types of technical change requests. Kind regards, Kaveh Ranjbar Chief Information Officer RIPE NCC On 03 Apr 2014, at 15:03, Romeo Zwart <romeo.zwart at ripe.net> wrote: > Dear colleagues, > > A new article is available on RIPELabs, the "Timeline for Phasing Out the Old TTM-based DNSMON": > https://labs.ripe.net/Members/romeo_zwart/copy_of_proposed-time-lines-for-phasing-out-the-old-ttm-based-dnsmon > > We invite your feedback about our planning before Tuesday, 15 April, to the DNS Working Group Mailing List <dns-wg at ripe.net> or to myself directly <romeo.zwart at ripe.net>. After the deadline has passed, the responses received will be summarised to the DNS Working Group Mailing List, along with a decision based on the feedback provided. > > Romeo Zwart > GII Services Manager > RIPE NCC >
