install whois sever

Hello,

   I have 2 questionss:

1.        I have installed  whois server by: $/usr/bin/perl install.pl --verbose --debug --for-development –use-tempdir –all –start-daemon

   But it responds: Need db password. How must I do?

2.       Can I install the Whois Server on Cygwin?
