I think that the idea of the telnet/whois/web interface is to query for one/two three objets, but not for 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 objets. On the other hand, if you make some quick queries to the web interface, the system blocks you. I think is better to add the info to the ripe.db file or make a query for the LIRs (like assued). There's also a flag which tells the server to keep the TCP stream open and wait for a new lookup key (iirc it is -k, just refer to the doc or feed -h to the server :-) ).
