As I stated In an other Mail, this not only helps in this issue, but to 
me would seem as mor logical, than what we have at the moment.

Yes because it at least would only go to persons rols that have a direct 
responsibility for the object, not the ones who maintain the Database.

Yes, I overlooked that.

as long as the autmatical adding of the changed-date is handeled as 
well, it sound reasonable.

So we might get to the ideal world(tm) after all?
