Chris & all: maybe not as directly concerning to the RIPE community as "a globally interoperable, unfragmented Internet" might be, the right to encryption appears to unfortunately be only vaguely stated - one of the concerns MEP Patrick Breyer has already clearly voiced in his review. cf. EU-Kommission: Europäische Erklärung für digitale Rechte vorgelegt https://www.golem.de/news/eu-kommission-europaeische-erklaerung-fuer-digitale-rechte-vorgelegt-2201-162704.html (German only - use your preferred translation tool to at least get the idea) Best, -C. With that in mind, we’d be very interested to hear any feedback or reactions to this new draft from the Commission. > > Best regards, > Chris
