Dear colleagues, As you’re likely aware, the European Commission has announced plans for a new Digital Services Act with the potential to affect many different actors in the Internet industry, and is currently holding an open consultation, which runs until 8 September, in order to solicit feedback from all stakeholders. We’re hosting an online dialogue next Wednesday, 8 July from 14:00-15:00 CEST to discuss the details of this newly proposed legislation and its potential impact on the technical community: https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/open-house/what-does-the-new-digital-services-act-mean-for-you <https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/open-house/what-does-the-new-digital-services-act-mean-for-you> We’ll be joined by Eva Jordan Vankova from the European Commission, Sebastian Schwemer from the Centre for Information and Innovation Law (CIIR) at the University of Copenhagen, and Athina Fragkouli, who will share the RIPE NCC’s perspective on the Digital Services Act. We hope you can join this interactive discussion, when you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and share your views.
