Dear RIPE Atlas Anchors hosts, dear sponsors,
we have released two new features for beta-testers,
but since you guys are also power-users, you might be interested too.
If you want to be added to testers list, please subscribe here:
https://www.ripe.net/mailman/listinfo/atlas-testers
(and then we still have to manually add you to VIP list,
so you will only be able to do use these features from Monday on..)
Once you are "enabled", you will see a new icon (see attached picture).
Please let us know if you like these new features!
Regards,
Vesna

Dear RIPE Atlas beta testers,
We are pleased to announce a feature that many users have been asking
for: an API for creating measurements!
From now on, you can create measurements without being logged in to the
web interface. This includes the one-off measurements that we announced
two weeks ago.
Here is the (hidden) link to the documentation:
https://atlas.ripe.net/alpha/measurement-api/
Limitations:
* This service is still in beta status, so although we've tested it to
the best of our ability, it's very likely to still contain some bugs
that we're hoping you'll help us find before we release it to everyone.
We are planning to spend about four weeks on testing and bug fixes.
* You can not use the API to stop measurements yet. Please use the UI
for that for now, and we'll add the ability to stop measurements to the
API next week.
* Currently, about 1,800 probes are capable of one-off measurements.
Unfortunately, the first generation probes are unable to support one-off
measurements due to memory limitations.
Please note: When setting up new measurements, please use a limited
amount of probes (up to about 10), in order to limit the exposure if you
encounter something unexpected.
Please let us know what elements of the API you find most useful, what
features you'd like to see, and, of course, any bugs that you come across.
Thank you and happy measuring!
