So to summarize:

 - there are some readers on the list that find e-mail with a textual
   body useful, and have come to the conclusion that 99% of e-mails that
   are HTML-only (or empty text part + HTML) are garbage

 - some other readers disagree, claiming that "only HTML e-mails have value".
