In that case, it has a responsibility to identify who the (sub)assignee
is, so that responsibility can be passed along.  To do otherwise is to
shield abusers from being called to account for their abuse, yet to
refuse to take any responsibility for what is done from behind that
shield.

And that's what I'm - we're, since I saw at least one other person
espouse a point of view similar in this respect to mine - asking: that
address space holders either ensure their subassignees are contactable,
or themselves accept responsibility for dealing with abuse from the
address space in question.
