This is interesting. I can only claim stats since 1998. However, I
have also stats for spamless days (days when I got not a single spam
message) as well as spam per week day

My remarks:
o concerned addresses are my personal address, postmaster, root as well
as several other "well-known" aliases
o at some time during last year, I killed one of my personnal aliases
(the "initials only" one) which resulted in an immediate and noticeable
reduction of received spam
o not in these stats, but still interesting: for testing purposes (nothing
to do with spam, MTA configuration), I have yet another address, which I
have used a very limited number of times (5 or less) on the internet. I
have not checked this account for months, and guess what, it was clobberd
with hundreds of spam messages.
