Along similar lines, I feel compelled to point out that we also cannot
be entirely certain that VERIFIED.IS is not in fact being operated by
super-intelligent aliens from some higher dimension.

I, for one, am willing to let anybody say anything they want, any
time, within reason.  I do object however to sanding idly by and
allowing crooks to defraud RIPE of its limited resources.  And so
should all other RIPE members.  That is not free speech.  It is
just crime.  (There _is_ a difference between those two things,
even if some would prefer not to apprehend it.)
