If there was a widely adopted API, I can see the value in a URL for some kind of RESTful service for automatic reports that do not require human involvement. if it can be automated, it surely will be abused just as e-mail addresses. Why open another 'door' for SPAMMERs and then wonder why we will have to expend more effort to 'filter' what cames through.
