Thats easy. We remove blocked IP ranges or addresses automatically on a regular base. Our statistics show, that spam only "outbreaks" for a couple of days from specific IPs and that we detect new outbreaks quick enough. We remove dynamic single IPs after a week automatically, when they were added automatically. And we remove manually added bigger blocks after 3 months. We also offer a webpage anybody can reach to remove IPs from our blacklist easily without any further "excuse" or "procedure". With just one simply click. Even any spammer could remove his IPs also very easily, if he ever reads an error report or mail reply from us, but thats no problem, because the IP will end up on the blacklist just with the next spam received. And: we never had the problem, that a new owner of a bigger netblock contacted us for removal, its unlikely, that such a newly used netblock has to reach our customers, we are small and only a small percentage of the IPs worldwide really want to communicate with our customers. Its fuzzy, does not get any case, but works great. Kind regards, Frank -- PHADE Software - PowerWeb http://www.powerweb.de Inh. Dipl.-Inform.
