<p>Hi,</p>
<i>Rationale:</i><i><br>
</i><i>[...]</i><i><br>
</i><i>By extending the availability of IPv4 addresses to newcomers,
the RIPE community demonstrates goodwill towards competition laws
and regulations. It is recognised that even with the ongoing
implementation of IPv6 the global internet is going to need some
IPv4 resources for another decade or two.</i><br>

<p>Maybe I'm missing something here. Is it fair that a LIR with
multiple /12 pays the same fee of a LIR with a single /22? Is this
how RIPE NCC<i> "</i><i>demonstrates goodwill towards competition
laws and regulations." </i>? <br>
</p>
<p>I oppose this proposal, unless at least RIPE NCC will charge
members based on how much IPv4 space they have. I find that this
will be the only way to really boost IPv6 adoption.<br>
