The chairs have convened, and come to the conclusion that we do not<br>
have had enough input yet.<br>

We've heard a few voices on the list that state "this proposal is good,<br>
go forward with it".  We've heard a few voices at the RIPE meeting that<br>
wanted "something else" - of those, only Jordi has made it to the list,<br>
and the resonance to his alternative was not met with unanimous support<br>
either (Elvis wants it, Nick opposes it, no other clear statements on<br>
that aspects).<br>

Max has brought up the topic at DENOG9 last week, to elicit more people into<br>
adding input into this discussion - which would be helpful in evaluating<br>
(rough) consensus.<br>
<br>
Thus, we've decided that we will extent the review period by four weeks.<br>
<br>
Marco will send the formal announcement early next week.<br>
