Do you empty your bank account the second your employer has transfered your salary? At least I let it sit there until I need it, knowing, assuming or at least hoping it sits there safe and sound. So why would an LIR that has not yet requested its last /22 because it simply doesn't need it at the moment still request it right now when it is ensured that it can also request its last chunk from the cake at any given time in the future? Provided that the underlying conditions do not change, of course.
