Hi What we really want to ask is, we are consider the possibility to built part of our infrastructure in US just like many of colleague here already does. But we find out that we can not become member of ARIN unless we have real company there. Then after research, we found out that many EU company just simply announced their Ripe range in the US for that purpose(to avoid any problem I don't want name any, but you can search yourself). And more after search, many company announced their backbone IP in US like eurorings for example. So, let's conclude: 1. you can announce IP outside of the region. 2. you are not limited to sell whoever is the customer(this customer thing didn't really mentioned in any documentation). Then as Tore said, why for example China telecom become member of Ripe and transfer the IP away? We must have sort of limit in the policy for that.
