Hi, I think it's a good idea not making one particular technology special. Also we are not going for 6RD we are having other problems regarding a initial /32 instead of a /29. We got a /32 some years ago. Now we find ourselves in a situation where we are having a need for /29. We also can justifiy it and we would get an assignement if we would do an initial request now. Following the current policy we are having two choices. 1) Returning the /32 and getting a /29 (which does not include the former /32). For us this is no option. 2) Stick to policy for subsequent allocations. In our case this means additional unneccessary work. Anyway it ends in a /29 for us. I'm conviced a /29 will be very helpful for proper addressing plans and I'm strongly supporting this proposal. > Why not making IPv6 more easily deployable, without those restrictions from IPv4 and legacy thinking about maximum conservation? ACK. cheers, Michael -- Michael Adams Tel: +49 221 2222 657 Network Engineering & Design Fax: +49 221 2222 7657 NetCologne Geschäftsführer Gesellschaft für Telekommunikation mbH Dr. Hans Konle (Sprecher) Am Coloneum 9 Dipl.-Ing.
