Yes, but they will be the same 23 bits anyway, not being "modified" by
the syntax used to register them in the DB. Much like a CIDR notation for
a block of addresses is equivalent to a range notation...

While I appreciate the fact that this proposal is managed and dicussed
in Address Policy, for formal reasons explained already, I'd really like
to see statements of support (or against?) from those parties which/who
have to "use" those beasts.

Which imho is more a matter of routing, ie. product develepment, UI, scripts,
tools...
