Hi Jeroen, There is no way in the PDP to "freeze" a discussion. In fact keeping the discussion period extended, and just not being pro-active in the discussion may act as a way to "freeze" it, and that's what I'm trying, but emails like this don't help that path. IANA is just one choice, and as I don't agree is the best one, this is why I'm proposing this policy. When the next version of the ID is released, then you will see an update of the current policy proposal text.
