Reasons for DNS anycasting have been stated multiple times and rehashing them over and over again won't make any progress. TLD and root servers are a prime example for an "at large" benefit, so while I'd agree with your statement, the preconditions aren't met. Is there anything in the current proposal that makes it "too easy" to get the address space? Any suggestions for rewording or clarification? -Peter
