Hi, now this is getting philosophical, and might better belong to the ipv6-wg mailing list... but still. Actually it *is* part of my job description here :-) If the move to IPv6 is ever going to happen, we should better have a large part of "the network" prepared for it - and that includes rolling out v6 address space to ISPs, deploying it in our networks, and learning from lots of mistakes, so that eventually we can move customer's IPv6 packets in good faith that they might arrive at their indended goals.
