Dear RIPE NCC members,

We’re busy preparing the launch of a new RIPE NCC Forum for you to engage with us and with each other, and we’ll be releasing a new languages wiki to support our members across the service region. -- Final Call for Presentations for RIPE 85
The RIPE Programme Committee has opened a third and final call for presentations for RIPE 85. Submit your proposals for plenary sessions or lightning talks by Monday, 3 October at 15:00 UTC:

-- CAPIF 1 Call for Presentations
We are excited to announce the launch of our new regional meeting, the Central Asia Peering and Interconnection Forum. CAPIF 1 will take place from 16-17 November 2022 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. We are now seeking content proposals from the community for plenary session presentations, panels and lightning talks. Submit your proposals by 17 October:

-- RIPE 85 Mentoring Programme Accepting Applications
The RIPE Meeting Mentoring Programme brings together experienced community members with newcomers to RIPE Meetings. If you would like to be a mentor or mentee for RIPE 85, sign up by 10 October:

-- RIPE 87 and RIPE 88 Call for Hosts
We invite organisations interested in hosting an upcoming RIPE Meeting to submit their proposals by 11 November 2022. RIPE 87 will take place from 27 November to 1 December 2023, and RIPE 88 will take place from 13-17 May 2024. See the requirements for hosting and how to apply at:

-- Nominations Open for the NRO NC Election
The call is open for nominations from the RIPE NCC service region to fill one seat on the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC). The election will take place at RIPE 85 from 24-28 October. Submit your nominations by Friday, 30 September 2022 at 23:59 UTC:

-- Code of Conduct Process Documents Published
The RIPE Code of Conduct Task Force has published two documents for community review. One describes the Code of Conduct Team's operational procedures, and the other outlines the selection process for team members. The community is requested to share their comments on the documents by 30 September:

The RIPE Chair Team has shared their September report, which includes information about RIPE 85, RIPE mailing list moderation, upcoming industry events, RIPE NomCom recommendations, an impact analysis for the RIPE Database Requirements Task Force and an update on the RIPE Code of Conduct Task Force:

We have now published our Draft Activity Plan and Budget 2023. This document outlines our plans and objectives for the upcoming year.
