-- Draft Activity Plan and Budget Published
We have now published the Draft RIPE NCC Activity Plan and Budget 2022. This document is intended for you to learn about our plans for the next year and share your thoughts at <members-discuss at ripe.net>. We will discuss our Draft Activity Plan and Budget as well as your feedback at the RIPE NCC General Meeting alongside RIPE 83 on Wednesday, 24 November 2021. You can read the document at:

-- Draft RIPE NCC Strategy 2022-2026 Published
We have also published our Draft RIPE NCC Strategy 2022-2026. This five-year strategy will guide our work in the coming years, and each Activity Plan and Budget over this period will adhere to the strategy outlined in this document. Our strategy also lays out our vision, mission and values. You are invited to share your feedback on the document at <members-discuss at ripe.net>. We will also discuss the Draft Five-Year Strategy at the General Meeting on Wednesday, 24 November 2021. Read the document at:

-- RIPE NCC Community Projects Fund 2021 Recipients Announced

-- New RIPE Atlas Sponsorship Opportunities
We have launched our new RIPE Atlas sponsorship model, offering more benefits and exposure to our future sponsors. Any financial support we receive will help us expand RIPE Atlas coverage:

-- TF-CSIRT Support
The RIPE NCC has offered some financial and organisational support to the TF-CSIRT as it transitions from a task force under GÉANT to an independent organisation. We will share more information soon about what this support will look like.



2. Your Technical Update
-- Hosted DNS Application Update
Users can now apply to host an instance of our AuthDNS service. We have updated our app so that it can handle applications for both K-root and AuthDNS:

-- Cloud Strategy Framework Published
After receiving input from the community on our draft cloud strategy, we have published the final version of our cloud strategy framework. It outlines a set of underlying principles and requirements and describes a framework that we will use as a starting point when developing any cloud implementation going forward:

3. What’s Happening in Our Community? 
-- RIPE Chair Team Reports – September 2021
RIPE Chair Mirjam Kühne reports on the latest events in the community, which include the new RIPE Code of Conduct, a RIPE NCC Services Working Group interim session, preparations for RIPE 83, and several events, including NLNOG Day 2021, SEEDIG 7 and SEE 9:

-- New Draft RIPE Policy Development Process (PDP) Document
As the RIPE Policy Development Process (PDP) was last updated in 2018, the RIPE Chair Team has created an updated draft version of the document. Members of the community are invited to share their comments on <ripe-list at ripe.net>. You can read the document at:

-- NRO NC Election
The call for nominations from the RIPE NCC service region to fill one seat on the Number Resource Organization Number Council has now closed. All confirmed nominees will be published by 1 November 2021.The election will take place at the RIPE 83 virtual meeting from 22-26 November:
