Number of LIRs: 23,739 (+7)
Number of members: 20,414 (+4)
LIRs with IPv6: 16,774 (+36)
IPv4 addresses transferred in July: 791,552 (-3,886,080)


2. Information Services
-- New RIPE NCC Service Announcements Dashboard
Visit our new dashboard to see any incidents or maintenance affecting our network and services, or if you are experiencing any issues with our services. The dashboard is hosted completely outside of the RIPE NCC’s infrastructure so we can continue reporting even in the event of a major outage:

-- Improved Abuse Contact Finder API
We have updated the data call for RIPEstat’s Abuse Contact Finder. The latest version provides faster responses and has added support for IP ranges:

-- Update to New RIPEstat UI
Our newest update to RIPEstat’s UI has a clickable calls listing for the Data API, improved history navigation, bug fixes and more:

3. Community and Engagement
-- RIPE Fellowship Programme Accepting Entries
Through the RIPE Fellowship Programme, we will cover the travel and accommodation costs for  successful candidates to attend RIPE 85 in Belgrade from 24-28 October. Applications close on Wednesday, 31 August 2022 at 23:59 (UTC+2). See the criteria and how to apply at:

-- Internet Measurement Day: Serbia
The Internet Measurement Day for Serbia will take place online on Tuesday, 13 September 2022 from 09:00 till 14:00 (UTC+2). Registration is free and open to everyone:

-- RIPE NCC Days Tashkent 
RIPE NCC Days Tashkent will take place from 22-23 September in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. See the schedule, venue information, how to register and more at:

-- NRO NC Election
The call is open for nominations from the RIPE NCC service region to fill one seat on the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC). The election will take place at RIPE 85 from 24-28 October. Submit your nominations by Friday, 30 September 2022 at 23:59 (UTC):

-- RIPE Labs Article Competition
The second RIPE Labs article competition is open. Authors of winning articles will be awarded a free trip to RIPE 85. Article submissions are due by 4 September at 23:00 (UTC+2):

In August, RIPE Labs featured articles from community members on topics including IPv6-mostly access networks, an encrypted-DNS censorship study, integration of threat intelligence and more:

4. Organisational Update
-- Registration for the General Meeting is Open
Registration is now open for the RIPE NCC General Meeting taking place from 26-28 October in Belgrade. Participants can also vote remotely but must register by 14:30 (UTC+2) on 26 October. Supporting documents and proposed resolutions will be shared with members by 28 September:
