European Operators Forum (EOF)/EOF Working Group
Charter
The European Operators Forum dealt with the operational
issues of networks in Europe, such as new backbones and Internet
Exchange Points. Peter Lothberg was the Chair.
It was replaced first by the currently inactive EOF Working Group, and then by a the EOF @ RIPE Meetings (see below for details).
EOF @ RIPE Meetings - also known as 'The Plenary'
The European Operators Forum (EOF) at RIPE Meetings is a forum
where new technology developments of interest to Internet Protocol
network operators are presented and discussed. The EOF itself has
no formal charter or chair. The agenda is coordinated by a program
committee led by Rob Blokzijl, RIPE Chair.
Participation is open to all interested parties. The EOF is normally
a day and a half session that takes place prior to scheduled RIPE
working group sessions. The Program Committee welcomes input for
possible topics and can be reached at eof-coord@ripe.net.
